Kearny Little League Baseball Registrations have been extended until Friday, March 5, 2010

Final little league registrations are being held on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Kearny Recreation Department.

All boys and girls, who turn 9 years of age prior to May1st or turn 13 after May 1st are eligible for tryouts for the Little League.

Due to the recent snow storm all Playgrounds, Skate Park and Futsal Facility are closed until further notice.

The Kearny Recreation Department will be holding registrations for the Senior Baseball League beginning Monday, February 1, 2010 through March 19, 2010 at the Kearny Recreation Department located at Town Hall 402 Kearny Avenue from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. All teenagers’ ages 13 to 15 are eligible to register.

The Kearny Recreation Department will be holding Little League, Minor League and Tee-Ball Baseball registrations for the upcoming 2010 baseball season beginning January 27, 2010 through February 26, 2010 at the Kearny Recreation Department 402 Kearny Avenue from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Due to the forecasted snow this weekend, the closure scheduled for tonight, 2/05/2010 is rescheduled to 2/12/2010.
Ongoing Emergency Work requiring weekend closures (last closure was in mid-December) for repairs to the lift span bearings and to perform span balancing.
Additional closures may be required to install a new drive system.
