Joseph O. D'Arco

Began as the Town's Business Administrator on September 18, 2000. Mr. D’Arco holds BS degrees from William Patterson College and Master in Public Administration from Farleigh Dickenson University. He has over 35 years of municipal management experience.

Michael J. Martello

Has been employed with the Town of Kearny since 1992; Mr. Martello graduated Seton Hall University in 1982 with a B.S. degree in Finance. Mr. Martello holds certification from the International Code Council has a Certified Code Official. He holds a certification from Rutgers University as a Certified Zoning Official with over 25 years experience in the Construction Industry.

Gerard B. Kerr

Began as Superintendent of Public Works on September 7, 2004. Mr. Kerr is currently enrolled at Bergen Community College for his degree in Business Administration. He has over 12 years experience in public works management.

Julie McCarthy

Has served as the Kearny Library Director since October, 2003. She holds a B.A. degree in English from the College of Mt. St. Vincent in English and an M.S. degree in Library Service from Columbia University. Julie has worked in both public and academic libraries in New Jersey and New York, with over 32 years of experience.

Richard R. Ferraioli

A lifelong resident of the town of Kearny. He began his employment with the town in February 1990. He has been employed the past 15 years in the Kearny Water Department, and currently serves as the Water Superintendent and Licensed Operator of the town of Kearny water distribution system. He is licensed by NJDEP as a class 3 water distribution system operator.

Chief Steve Dyl

A lifelong Kearny resident and a product of the Kearny school system. In 1986 Steve Dyl received a Bachelor of Science degree in Fire Science from Jersey City State College. Prior to joining the Fire Department, he worked for McCabe Ambulance in Bayonne and University Hospital EMS in Newark.

John P. Sarnas

A lifelong resident of Kearny, John joined the kearny health department in 1974, he received a B.A. Degree from Newark State, and a M.A.degree, from Jersey City State in health administration. He also became a NJ licensed health officer in 1985 and became health officer of Kearny in 1997.
