Kearny Public Library announces Play and Story Time in September and October

As another school year begins, are you looking for educational activities for preschoolers? Play and Story Time is a free class for toddlers and preschoolers with their caregivers that combines playing with educational toys, learning songs, and getting ready to read. Another benefit to the family is that listening to picture books can help young children feel comfortable with new routines. Play and Story Time continues in September and October (except Oct. 1) at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesdays and at 11:30 a.m. on Thursdays at 318 Kearny Ave. A third class takes place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursdays at 759 Kearny Ave. Drop in at your convenience because registration is not necessary. Walk-A-Thon being sponsored by the Kearny Domestic Violence Response Team

Kearny Domestic Violance Response Team Walk -A- Thon The walk will be from the Kearny Town Hall South of Woodland Avenue then East on Woodland through Hudson County Park. After the walk refreshments will be served at the LCCC, 6 Davis Avenue, Kearny.
Registration starts at 9:00am intil 9:45AM the fee for participation is $5. There will be no fee for students.
