(KEARNY, NJ) – On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, the Town of Kearny held its annual Fireworks Celebration at Veteran’s Memorial Field on Belgrove Drive.  Mayor Alberto G. Santos along with Councilmembers Carol Jean Doyle, Susan McCurrie and Marytrine De Castro joined Kearny residents for the event.  Each year, the July 4th Fireworks Celebration becomes larger and more spectacular.

(Kearny, NJ) – On Tuesday, June 27, 2017, Mayor Alberto G. Santos and Councilmembers Eileen Eckel, Susan McCurrie, Albino Cardoso, Richard Konopka, Marytrine De Castro and Peter Santana joined Fire Chief Steve Dyl, members of the Kearny Fire Department and local area residents for the ribbon-cutting and re-opening ceremony of Station 1, the town firehouse located at Davis Avenue and Devon Terrace.

The Town of Kearny in partnership with We Are One New Jersey Hudson County Center and the Portuguese Cultural Association held a Citizenship Clinic on Saturday, July 1, 2017, 9:30 AM – 3:00 PM.  The citizenship clinic took place at 408 Schuyler Avenue, Kearny, New Jersey 07032 and the event was open to all interested in becoming a citizen of the United States of America.
