National Poetry Month: Kearny Public Library and WHAT present a Book Release Poetry Reading by Josh Humphrey

Debuts Poetry Collection at Special Reading 
at West Hudson Arts & Theater Company, April 21
 
KEARNY, NJ: Celebrate National Poetry Month at a unique reading event sponsored by Kearny Public Library and West Hudson Arts & Theater Company (W.H.A.T.) on Friday, April 21 at 7 PM in the W.H.A.T. theater, currently in residence at 65 Oakwood Avenue. 
 
Featured reader will be local poet, lifelong Kearny resident, and Kearny Librarian Josh Humphrey, who will be presenting selections from his recently published collection, Afterlife, a project he worked on with his father, Bill Humphrey, who provided beautiful photographs for each piece.  This unique reading will feature a projection of all these arresting images, taken at points all over the world.
 
Following the program will be a Q & A and book signing session with both two contributors. Light refreshments will be served.
 
General Admission tickets for this special program will be $5, with proceeds benefitting both the W.H.A.T. and the Kearny Library.
