Movies In The Parks

MOVIES IN THE PARKS - Hudson County will host a series of movies throughout the summer at parks in Hoboken, Union City, Jersey City, Kearny, Bayonne and Secaucus starting at sundown.  The movies are free to the public. Popcorn will be provided while supplies last. For more information about the movies, go to hudsoncountynj.org.  Each park will host two movies throughout July and August. Here is a list of movies that will be shown:
 
STEPHEN R. GREGG PARK
"The Jungle Book" is the first movie playing in the series on July 5 and "Finding Dory" will be the second playing on August 2. The park is located on Park Drive in Bayonne.

WEST HUDSON PARK
The first movie, "BFG," scheduled to play on July 11 is canceled due to inclement weather.  The second movie, "The Angry Birds Movie," will play August 4. The park is located at 158 Dukes St. in Kearny.

WASHINGTON PARK
This park in Jersey City and Union City will host its first movie on July 12 with "The Secret Life of Pets." The second movie on the screen is "Nine Lives" on August 9. The park is located at 200 New York Ave. in Jersey City.

COLUMBUS PARK
Two movies will be shown at Grand and Ninth streets in Hoboken. The first movie being shown on July 14 is "The Wild Life," and the second movie, "Storks," will be shown on August 11.

LINCOLN PARK
This Jersey City park will show "The LEGO Batman Movie" on July 19 and "Sing" on August 16. The park is located at 815-839 State Route 440 in Jersey City.

JJ BRADDOCK PARK
"Moana" will be the first movie to play on July 21 and "Alice Through the Looking Glass" will be the second to play on August 18. The park is located at 9003 Bergenline Ave. in North Bergen.

LAUREL HILL PARK
The first movie playing on July 31 is "A Dog's Purpose" with the second movie, "Beauty and the Beast," playing on August 28. The park is located on 1002 New County Rd. in Secaucus.
