Kearny’s Sesquicentennial Committee Plans Block Party Celebration for Sunday, October 1, 2017

The Town of Kearny’s Sesquicentennial Committee has begun organizing the closing event, Kearny’s final celebration of 150 Years of Community.  The closing event will showcase the history and diverse cultures of the Town of Kearny at a fun, free, family-friendly event.  
 
Kearny’s 150th Anniversary block party celebration, scheduled to be held at Veteran’s Memorial Field on Sunday, October 1, 2017, 3:00 pm through 8 pm, will feature musical performances, food, a beer garden, zip line and a grand finale fireworks display.  There will also be presentations from many of Kearny’s civic and cultural organizations.
