The Board of Trustees of the Kearny Public Library will be hosting three programs at the library in honor of the library director, Julie McCarthy, upon her retirement.

The Board of Trustees of the Kearny Public Library will be hosting three programs at the library in honor of the library director, Julie McCarthy, upon her retirement. A Celtic Celebration will be held on Saturday, March 13th 2010. The celebration begins at 10 a.m. with a showing of the PBS documentary, Visions of Ireland: Breathtaking Views of the Emerald Isle.
At 1 p.m. Dugan’s Hooligans will perform using fiddle, flute, harp, whistle, bodhran, Irish flame drum, vocals and step-dance.
