Live Broadcast of Public Council Meetings on FIOS Television Outlet

The Mayor and Town Council have agreed to broadcast public Council meetings live on Channel 39, an outlet available to subscribers of Verizon’s FIOS television service. The first meeting aired live is scheduled for Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 7 p.m. A schedule of regular public meetings of the Mayor and Council for 2010 is available on the Town’s web site, www.kearnynj.org.

The Town will continue to air previously recorded Town Council meetings on Comcast’s Channel 12, Mondays at 7 p.m. The Town has aired previously recorded Council meetings on Comcast’s cable service since 1999.
