An Important Message from the Town of Kearny – Road Construction
The following roadways will undergo milling and repaving operations from July 5th to July 7th:
- Tappan Street (Schuyler Avenue to Breiderhoft Road)
- Hoyt Street (Schuyler Avenue east to dead end)
- Devon Terrace (Davis Avenue east to dead end)
- Schuyler Avenue (Devon Terrace to Hoyt Street)
- Essex Street (Dukes Street to Tappan Street)
The hours of construction will be from 7:00am to 5:00pm. Please adhere to all posted ‘No Parking’ signs within the work areas. Vehicles will not be permitted to park on the roadways during construction hours. All roadways will be reopened at the end of each workday for overnight parking. Please plan alternative traffic routes during construction hours. All work is weather dependent, and the schedule may shift due to inclement weather.
