Consistent with the Governor’s order re-opening State parks for limited passive recreational use (such as walking, jogging or boating), the Town of Kearny is reopening Riverbank Park, Town Hall Bicentennial Park, Memorial Park, Manor Park and Bunny Hill for passive recreational use. In addition, the County of Hudson is re-opening West Hudson Park for passive recreational use. Residents are urged to practice social distancing and wear a mask or face covering in re-opened park areas.
All contact activities, sports and gatherings of any kind remain banned. All playgrounds, sports fields, tennis courts, rinks, dog parks, picnic areas, and public bathrooms remain closed.
