ON OCTOBER 20, 2020, DURING THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE TOWN COUNCIL THE BELOW RESOLUTION WAS PASSED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL.
Resolution Authorizing the Suspension of Parking Meter Enforcement (but not the Two (2) Hour Parking Limit at Metered Locations) for the Holiday Season from Saturday, December 05, 2020 to Friday, December 25, 2020, Inclusive.
WHEREAS, it is traditional in the town to suspend parking meter enforcement for the holiday season in order to facilitate shopping at local venues
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Council of the Town of Kearny, in the County of Hudson, New Jersey that;
- Parking meter enforcement in the Town of Kearny be and it is hereby suspended from December 5, 2020 to December 25, 2020, inclusive, but the Two-Hour Parking Limit at metered locations shall remain in full force and effect.
- Street Sweeping restrictions, however, shall remain in effect.
