Strong Towns West Hudson Announces “Kearny Main” Historic Walking & Food Tour
Following the sold-out success of last year’s Midland Avenue tour, Strong Towns West Hudson, the Kearny Public Library and Museum, and the Kearny Urban Enterprise Zone (KUEZ) are proud to announce a new tour for Saturday, May 9.
The tour focuses on the “Kearny Main” District—the vibrant stretch of Kearny Avenue between Midland and Bergen. Participants will enjoy a 2.5-hour guided experience blending local history with food tastings from the district’s diverse eateries.
“I hope people walk away with an appreciation for how this district has evolved over time, and how those incremental changes can help inform the future of our neighborhoods,” says Strong Towns founder Christopher Vasquez.
Registration Details: Tickets are free but extremely limited. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8.Due to high demand, no additional sessions will be added once spots are filled.
