The Town of Kearny is seeking Full time professional individual to manage all municipal public works operations, including supervisory responsibility of 28+ employees. General responsibilities will include the planning, budgeting, coordinating and overall administration of streets and sewers, shade tree, parks and recreation maintenance, buildings and ground and fleet maintenance. Successful candidate must possess a certification of Public Works Management (CPWM) and at least 3-5 years of previous municipal experience in an administrative capacity, having the responsibility of daily public works operations and supervision. Ideal candidate will possess motivation and initiative and be capable of inspiring teamwork, in the midst of a fast-paced environment and constantly changing priorities.
