Seeking an individual to assume the full-time position of Tax Assessor to perform all duties and responsibilities as required by applicable statutes of the State of New Jersey and regulations of appropriate officials of the State of New Jersey and the County of Hudson. The Kearny Tax Assessor shall hold a tax assessor certificate provided for in P.L.1967, c.44 (C. 54:1-35.25 et seq.) and will ensure that all properties in the Town of Kearny are assessed for the purpose of real property taxation. The town is seeking an experienced professional with technical knowledge and strong leadership skills to effectively manage the Department of Public Works which consist of staff of 35.
