A large turnout at the 2nd Annual International Women’s Day Celebration, hosted by Mayor Carol Jean Doyle. This inspiring event highlighted the achievements of women in public service and offered local business owners a platform for networking, inspiration, and empowerment. Thank you to the Hudson County Economic Development Corporation, New Jersey Economic Development Authority (Small Business Liaison), Hudson County Chamber of Commerce Director, and the Women of Commerce Co-Chair for connecting local businesses with the resources to help them thrive.
Gratitude to NJ State Senator Angela McKnight, Councilwoman Marytrine De Castro, Councilman Fred Esteves, and Councilman Gerald Ficeto for their presence, along with a captivating visit from Mary T. Norton from the upcoming performance of Mary and Eleanor, who shared a brief history of women in New Jersey politics.
