On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, the Town of Kearny celebrated its senior community with the 33rd annual Kearny Senior Picnic, sponsored by Mayor Carol Jean Doyle and the Town Council. Hundreds of seniors gathered to enjoy a day filled with friendship, food, and music.

The annual picnic is an excellent opportunity for the town’s seniors to reconnect with friends and neighbors, fostering a strong sense of community. Representatives from various municipal departments and local organizations were present to greet the senior residents and provide valuable information about the services available to them. As a token of appreciation, seniors received goodie bags filled with donated items, expressing their gratitude for the thoughtful gesture and the memorable day.
