Mayor Carol Jean Doyle joined Congresswoman Nellie Pou, Congressman Rob Menendez, and Hudson County Executive Craig Guy to announce $3 million in federal funding for critical safety improvements along Passaic Avenue in Kearny.
While final construction plans are still being developed, the funding will support roadway, pedestrian, and bicycle safety enhancements, as well as upgraded traffic signals, helping create a safer corridor for residents, visitors, and everyone who travels through the area.
The Town of Kearny extends its sincere thanks to Congresswoman Pou, Congressman Menendez, and County Executive Guy for their partnership and commitment to securing this important investment, which will benefit both Kearny and surrounding communities for years to come.
