Please join the Town of Kearny in the fight by signing the petition and sending a letter to Governor Phil Murphy to help call attention to the dumping of waste at the Keegan Landfill in Kearny. The State-owned and operated landfill is polluting our air with hydrogen sulfide and causing harm to our environment and health. Kearny demands closure of the Keegan Landfill with an impermeable cap and gas collection system. We will not stop until this stops. In addition, if you smell the sulfur odor, keep calling it in to both the NJ DEP (877-927-6337) and Hudson Regional (201-817-9844) complaint lines.
