Town of Kearny Celebrates the 4th of July – A Grand Display of Patriotism
(KEARNY, NJ) – On Monday, July 4, 2022, the Town of Kearny held its annual Fireworks Celebration at Veteran’s Memorial Field on Belgrove Drive. Mayor Alberto G. Santos, the Town Council, Recreation Commission and Department joined Kearny residents for the event. Each year, the July 4th Fireworks Celebration becomes larger and more spectacular.
Families began arriving in the late afternoon, setting up seats and blankets in the prime viewing areas on Bunny Hill. An estimated 10,000 spectators enjoyed the festivities this year, which included a performance by the James Dean Orchestra and a 32-minute fireworks display.
