Facade Improvement Grants Up to $15,000 for KUEZ Member Businesses
The Kearny Urban Enterprise Zone (KUEZ) is investing in local businesses — and the look of our community. The Kearny Storefront Project provides grants of up to $15,000 to help eligible businesses upgrade their building exteriors, covering both design and construction costs, at no expense to the business owner.

What Can Grant Funds Cover?
Eligible improvements include, but are not limited to:
- Signage and awnings
- Exterior lighting and electrical work
- Exterior painting and architectural restoration
- Window and door replacement
- Front glass graphics and display design
- Exterior furniture and décor
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify, your business must:
- Be an active KUEZ member
- Be registered in the State of New Jersey
- Be located within a designated KUEZ district
- Be in good standing with all local and state taxes and regulations
